Understanding Nutrients for Plantern

Everybody that has grown using deep water hydroponic method understand how difficult is to keep a stable water and how important nutrients can be. For the new growers, you came to the right place.

First, you need to buy your nutrients. They can be purchased in your local hydroponic store and online. They are sold in 2 parts, 3 parts and even 4 parts presentation. For Plantern L we recommend 3 part nutrients and for Plantern S 2 part nutrients. Second, you need to fill out each bottle with the respective nutrient.

Plantern will dilute the nutrients for you when it detects out of range values in water ppm and correctly feed the ratio of each bottle, input from the app.

Most of the cases, nutrient micro (high in Nitrogen) should be feed first. Once you have confirmed the order, fill out the bottles in said order and adjust the percentage of each solution to be feed onto the water bucket.
